Emitting a halogen like beam, the dimmable
INTENSITY LED GU10 is ideal for spot lighting
(track, corridors, lift lobbies, display cases and
cabinets) It is particularly suited to public areas
such as lobbies, corridors and stairwells where the
light is on 24/7. The smooth dimming of the wide
beam allows a wide choice of light levels.

The dimmable INTENSITY LED GU10 delivers

with most existing fixtures with a GU10 holder.

Mode Lighting

Bell 8W (75W) 500lm GU10 LED tested with an Evolution and Tiger leading edge dimming card with manual rotary control (1-10 lamps)
" Usable dimming range: limited, 9:30 to 1:30 (full range 7:00 to 17:00) - restricted *
" Voltage swing (for usable range): 60V to 190V RMS - okay
" Peak to peak voltage measured at 50% phase cut: 860V - okay
" Quality of dimming: Lamps dim from zero at about 60V to full, step/shimmer at 123V,135V, 165V - Poor *#
" Minimum load: 2 lamps recommended - okay
* The lamp was also checked on a rheostat (variable resistor with no electronics) to ensure that there was no undue interaction from the dimmer electronics - above observations were still present, which indicates the cause being due to instability/tolerance within the lamp electronics.
# The addition of a 10W resistive load resolved the shimmer/visible steps.

Any limitation of dimmable range or step within the dimming range are not normally an issue for scene set systems, which can generally be programmed to accommodate same.
