Projects Administrator


Location: Normanton, West Yorkshire
Hours: 37.5 per week

We are looking for a Projects Administrator to join us as a member of the team at our Head Office in Normanton. You will become a core member of the sales & customer service team providing exceptional support for our projects customers, whilst learning a vast knowledge of the Lighting industry along the way.

Bell Lighting is a well-established, rapidly growing manufacturer of high quality lamps and luminaries.

Established in 1920, Bell Lighting is a leading manufacturer with 100 years’ experience within the industry.

About the Role

You will be the first point of contact for customers and end users, where your daily duties will be:

  • Providing call and administrative support to our large-scale customers based around the UK;
  • Working with customers, contractors & end users to process large orders and ensure efficient deliveries;
  • Scheduling couriers for large scale orders, arranging dedicated vehicles if required;
  • Maintaining excel spreadsheets for part codes, product descriptions, pricing, despatch records, & backorders;
  • Setting up new project orders for customers & end users;
  • Learning the trends of customer orders, using a pro-active approach for future projects;
  • Providing administrative support to the order processing team if required;
  • Keep up to date with product knowledge;

Your working hours will be 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Desirable Skills
We are looking for an experienced, motivated individual with the ability to work both individually and as part of a team. On-site training will be provided to ensure that you have the knowledge and tools to succeed in your role, however our ideal candidate will have:
  • Confident and comfortable using Microsoft excel & outlook is essential;
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Previous experience in an administrative role;
  • A friendly, professional telephone manner and attitude;
  • Able to meet tight deadlines, with excellent organisational skills;
  • A ‘can do’ attitude with an interest to learn;
We will provide full training to ensure that you have the knowledge and tools to do your job.
