Over the past 6 months we have been working extremely hard to improve the data which is available through our website!

We have implemented brand new technical specification sheets across the products which are available on our website, with an automated service which allows our customers to download PDFs which show our latest technical information. To complement our efforts, we have also added LDT files to our product pages where relevant, and we have added product images and installation instructions where possible.

The work which we have completed in terms of our data collection has also extended beyond our dedicated website. Our Product Data Co-Ordinator recently collaborated with EDATA to ensure that our product information was up to date through their platform. We are proud to announce that this work has allowed us to maintain our Gold Data Quality rating with EDATA!

We have added 810 new products through EDATA, whilst also updating our existing range; we far surpassed the 50% mark which is required to achieve Gold status, with the vast majority of our items meeting the Gold standard requirements.

To achieve a Gold rating, a product SKU must include a product and manufacturer name, GTIN, part number, short description, long description, marketing bullet points, range name, order unit, minimum order quantity, product image, and much more. We have achieved this accuracy for almost 2,000 products and EDATA further championed our efforts by highlighting BELL Lighting as a Data Superstar in their March 2025 EDATA Data Pool Bulletin.
