Earlier this year we were once again been granted Carbon Neutral status, and this recognition, alongside our EcoVadis assessment, provides vindication for our efforts.

To reach our long-term goals, we have made positive short and medium-term decisions this year. In our packaging and delivery processes alone, we have made huge changes. All of our cardboard boxes are now FSC certified, recyclable, and made from mostly recycled materials (63%). We have implemented a new recycling process to ensure that we do not send waste to landfill, with a host of digitsation processes put in place to make our business more environmentally conscious.

In 2024 we digitised our pick notes process, our new starter contracts, our invoice storage system, and our Exports processes. We are actively working towards digitising work within remaining departments, and we have made further strides in our packaging activities. All of the packing materials which leave our warehouse are now recyclable or paper based, with our polystyrene and plastic bags moving over to a paper or vegetable starch alternative. Further to this, we have upgraded the quality of our void fill, increasing the recycled content of our sealed air. Lastly, we have moved over to a recyclable bubble wrap, and our pallet wrapping is now 100% recyclable.

We will continue to push for a more sustainable future within our company, and we look forward to what the future holds.
