Red Rose Primary School in Durham has a strong vision, aiming to educate the whole child to the highest possible standard, widening their horizons through education and support.

The School has a set of core values, similar to our values here at BELL Lighting, ranging from Respect, Excellence, and Determination, to Responsibility, Opportunity, Support for others, and Equality.

Our Arial Multi Backlit LED 600x600 Wattage Switchable Panel products were recently installed at the site, with our Aqua 1 LED CCT Wattage Switchable Bulkhead fittings also used in various areas. In total we saw around 70 of our Panel products and 30 of our Bulkheads installed at Red Rose, with excellent results being on show thanks to the improvement in both light levels and efficiency as a result of the installation.

Education Lighting is extremely important, with high quality lighting resulting in low glare, minimal stroboscopic effects, and an increased chance of picking up on fine details as a result of high CRI and lighting levels, allowing pupils to work to the best of their abilities in a suitable environment. At BELL Lighting we understand the importance of quality lighting in educational spaces, and the installers of the project, Nova Greentech, stated that:

"BELL Lighting were the chosen manufacturer for the project due to their cost effective, wattage switchable products which provide good quality whilst working within the customer's budget."
