Sheffield Town Hall

We recently visited Sheffield Town Hall, with our National Key Accounts & Projects Manager, Lee Gaskell, capturing photographs of our LED GLS and Round Lamps!

Sheffield Town Hall is a prestigious building, constructed between 1890 and 1897, and finally opening on 21st May 1897. The building has seen several extensions and upgrades since being first opened; it is now used primarily by Sheffield City Council. As a listed building with a Grade I designation, Sheffield Town Hall is noted as a structure of architectural interest which is deserving of special protection.

Over 1,000 of our LED Lamps were delivered to the site, with the support of NE Electrical Wholesalers Ltd, Sheffield, and Walker Miller & Co Ltd. Electrical Contractors. We never tire of seeing the improvement which high quality LED Lamps can provide to a space, especially when the space is as striking and significant at Sheffield Town Hall. With a 105 year history of supplying efficient, aesthetically pleasing Lamps into the market, we were a great choice for the project, with our exceptional warranties and family business ethos providing a further basis for the trust which is needed when working on revered buildings like this one.

We are proud of our involvement with this project and we look forward to working on similar installations in the future.
