BELL Lighting is proud to announce the Electrical Industries Charity (EIC) as our official charity partner, reflecting our commitment to supporting the people and communities that make up the electrical industry.
The Electrical Industries Charity provides free and confidential support to people working or who have worked within the electrical and energy industries, as well as their households. Its work provides an important source of help for people facing difficult circumstances in both their personal and professional lives.
The charity's services range from mental health support and bereavement counselling to emergency financial assistance, legal advice, advocacy and support following redundancy or job loss.
As a business that has been part of the electrical industry for more than a century, BELL Lighting wants to play an active role in supporting the industry beyond the products and services we provide.
Adopting the EIC as our official charity partner forms part of BELL's wider commitment to being a responsible business and making a positive contribution to our industry, our people and the communities around us.
Through fundraising and other activities across the business, we will help the EIC continue its work, while raising awareness of the assistance available to people throughout our industry. The charity relies on fundraising and support from individuals and businesses across the sector to help fund its services.
Philip Holt, Sales & Commercial Director at BELL Lighting, said:
BELL Lighting has supported the EIC for a number of years through fundraising activities. This October, Philip Holt will once again take on the Lakes in a Day Ultramarathon, marking his fifth consecutive year tackling the challenge in support of the charity.
By naming the EIC as our official charity partner, we are formalising that existing relationship and expanding our involvement, with more fundraising and activities planned across BELL. Our aim is to make an ongoing contribution to the EIC and the vital services it provides to people across the electrical industry.
