BELL Lighting has launched Apex, a new range of LED battens designed to give wholesalers, contractors and specifiers more flexibility from fewer products on the shelf.
The range is made up of three battens - Dura, Ultra and Mentor - each ideally suited to a different environment across industrial and warehousing, offices, education and healthcare. Apex is built around the same core idea of one fitting that adapts to the needs of the end customer.
Every Apex batten is switchable between three colour temperatures, 3000K, 4000K and 6000K, plus four wattage options, all within a single fitting. That means one product can cover jobs that would previously have needed several different SKUs, cutting down on the number of variants wholesalers and contractors need to hold in stock.
Dura is built for tougher environments, with an IP66 rating and anti-corrosive housing suited to industrial settings. Ultra is a versatile, shatterproof option for general commercial use. Mentor is designed with low glare in mind, with UGR<19 and UGR<22 options, making it a strong fit for schools, universities and hospitals.
The Apex range is supported by a single set of plug-in accessories, including emergency pack, microwave and PIR sensors, and a Casambi smart dimming option. All are plug-and-play, meaning contractors aren't tied to a fixed variant on order, and wholesalers can stock one accessory range rather than three. Installation is quick and easy, with improved clips, repositionable terminal blocks, multiple entry points and BESA box mounting featured.
Every Apex batten comes with an 8-year product warranty and 2-year on-site warranty, backed by a 70,000-hour operating life and efficiency of up to 160 Lm/W.
