Our Firestay Geo LED Sustainable Modular Downlight won three awards in 2023!

The product secured both the Lighting Product of the Year and Smart Buildings/Sustainability Product of the Year at the Electrical Contracting News Awards, alongside a Build Back Better Green Award.

We were in attendance at the Electrical Contracting News Awards at the end of November, with our Firestay Geo LED Sustainable Modular Downlight winning the Lighting Product of the Year and Smart Buildings/Sustainability Product of the Year!

The categories were judged on a host of elements, from design, innovation, usage and space in the market, to economic and commercial viability, and we thank the experts involved in the judging process for assessing our application favourably.

Alongside our Electrical Contracting News victories, we also realised our goal of receiving a Build Back Better Award in 2023. This was not an easy task, and any product which enters the Build Back Better Awards does so knowing that their entry will be evaluated extremely seriously under the lens of sustainability. Winning a Green Award reaffirmed our belief that circular economy products have a real place in the market, and gave us the confidence to further apply for Electrical Contracting News Awards, along with other competitions where the Firestay Geo was also shortlisted as a finalist, such as the National Recycling Awards.
