We are thrilled to announce that all of our Area Sales Executives have officially transitioned to electric vehicles (EVs); previously we had seen a scattered adoption of hybrid or electric vehicles across certain staff members. This marks a major milestone in our sustainability efforts, significantly reducing our operational carbon footprint.

The first wave of BELL Lighting EVs have now arrived at BELL House, with additional vehicles expected to join the fleet shortly. A huge thank you goes to Synergy Car Leasing for their exceptional support in making this transition a reality.

This move follows years of proactive steps to improve our environmental performance. From achieving Carbon Neutral status to receiving an EcoVadis Gold Sustainability Rating, we have shown our commitment to leading by example. The switch to a fully electric ASE fleet is a clear demonstration of our long-term dedication to reducing emissions and operating more sustainably.

Looking ahead to 2025, we are taking bold steps to further enhance our green credentials. As part of our commitment to clean energy and carbon reduction, we have now installed solar panels at our National Distribution Centre.

The installation was completed last month by Your Solar Energy, our trusted NICEIC MCS accredited partner. This development will enable us to generate clean, renewable energy onsite; this will in-turn reduce our reliance on external power sources and reinforce our commitment to a greener future.
