IT Systems Administrator

 

Location: Foxbridge Way, Normanton

We are looking for an IT Systems Administrator to help deliver high-quality IT Support throughout the business. This is an integral role to support the IT Manager, helping implement, install, maintain and update the IT Infrastructure with tasks ranging from Operating System patches to ERP Implementation.

About the Role

To qualify for this role, you must be proficient in networking (any qualifications are advantageous) and have experience providing technical support on a helpdesk and on site. It is also essential that you hold a valid driving license and have your own vehicle as you may be between sites.

Aside from this, the following would give you an advantage:

  • 2-3 years’ experience providing IT support
  • Experience working for an in-house IT department is desirable
  • Experience troubleshooting/configuring Windows Operating systems including Server OS
  • Administration of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP & Group Policy
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (Admin, Exchange & SharePoint)
  • Any experience providing support on VMware/Hyper-V is advantageous but not essential for the role
  • Experience providing network configuration including VLANs, VPN & SIP Trunks
  • HTML, CSS, PHP knowledge would be advantageous but not essential for the role
  • C#, VBA and SQL basic programming skills are desirable
  • Must be open to working out of hours and over a weekend

Your working hours will be 40 per week Monday to Friday, working between the hours of 8:30am and 6:00pm. Weekend and evening support may be required occasionally. Some travel may be involved across all business sites due to software updates and other business requirements.
 

Desirable Skills

Due to the possibilities and the development of this role, we have included some desirable skills. These include but are not limited to:

  • Knowledge of Hypervisors and Virtualisation (ESXi or HyperV)
  • Experience with any ERP Systems (SAP, Dynamics 365, EpicorERP10);
  • Software Development (C#, SQL & VBA)
  • Website Development (HTML & CSS plus use of any CMS)
  • Knowledge of configuring and maintaining an onsite PBX
  • Understanding of SIP Trunks

Temporary Warehouse Operative

 
About the Role

We are looking for an experienced warehouse operative to join us as a temporary member of the team at our head office in Normanton. Your daily duties will be:

  • To work with a small team of operatives;
  • Pick and pack all priority orders;
  • To physically help the team with the workload with goods in and various warehouse tasks
  • To cover in various other warehouse departments when required;
  • To ensure all orders/workload duties are completed to given timescales;
  • Reporting to the senior warehouse operative / warehouse supervisors;
  • To achieve the company's KPI targets


This role is a 6-month temporary contract, where your working hours will be 42.5 per week Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.


Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a motivated individual with previous experience working in a warehouse environment. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working in a warehousing environment;
  • Knowledge and experience of working within a goods in, dispatch or picking environment;
  • Able to comfortably report any issues with warehouse production to senior members;
  • A 'can do' attitude to work and tasks that need to be completed;
  • Must have the ability to solve any minor work-related issues that may arise during a 'normal working day;
  • A team-player who is also self-motivated with the ability to work alone;
  • Flexi-truck licence is desirable but not essential;
  • Must have a good knowledge and understanding of health and safety

Sales Administrator

 

Location: Foxbridge Way, Normanton

We are looking for an experienced sales administrator to join us as a member of the team at our head office in Normanton. You will become a core member of the sales & customer service team providing call and administrative support for our customers, whilst learning a vast knowledge of the Lighting industry along the way.

About the Role

This role includes providing call and administrative support to our customers based around the UK. You will be the first point of contact for new and existing customers, where your daily duties will be:

  • Processing Customer Orders via email and telephone;
  • Checking Stock availability, delivery dates and advising customers of any back order dates;
  • Respond to all incoming requests and taking ownership of customer enquiries, ensuring these are resolved in a timely manner;
  • You will act as the face of the business, interacting with customers in a professional and efficient manner;
  • Stay up to date on new products, services and policies;

This role is a 12-month temporary contract (Maternity Cover), where your working hours will be 37.5 per week Monday to Friday, flexible between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm.
