Lighting Design Calculator

Our simple to use lighting design calculator is a quick and easy way to see how many luminaires of a certain product you will require to light a room to the general SLL (CIBSE) lighting level reccomendations.

General assumptions for the calculator are that rooms are square/oblong, have a uniform ceiling height and that light fixtures will be equally spaced. Natural light sources such as windows and sky lights are also not factored in. Office type rooms assumed reflection factors of 20/70/50% for floor, ceiling and walls respectively
Warehouse type rooms assumed reflection factors of 20/50/30% for floor, ceiling and walls respectively
