The HSE Science and Research Centre is the most comprehensive facility in the world dedicated to the investigation and research of health and safety science.
We have visited The HSE Science and Research Centre in Buxton on several occasions to capture photography, with our products being used onsite across three installation phases.
Over 4,000 of our light fittings have been used at the 550-acre site, with our Lumo LED CCT Asymmetric Wallpack and our Arial Pro 16W LED CCT IP44 Downlight used throughout circulation areas, and our Illumina Atlas Wattage Switchable LED High Bay used to provide lighting in areas where ceilings are particularly high within the main building. A number of our Dura LED Anti Corrosive IP65 Batten products were also present in various areas. The products have provided a positive difference to the site, with one staff member mentioning the reduction in glare thanks to our products.
The lighting involved in the second phase of the project was designed by BELL Lighting and facilitated through City Electrical Factors, Buxton.
Our photographs show our Arial T-Pro CCT UGR<19 LED Panels within a selected office area, with our Arial Pro LED Downlights used within the Canteen space and several other areas. Our Mentor CCT Wattage Switchable LED Battens can be seen within a breakout meeting space, thanks to the product reducing glare, making it suitable for conference and meeting rooms.
Alongside the internal products which were specified, we were also proud to be selected as the manufacturer of choice for the external upgrades which took place at this reputable site.
Around 80 of our Alto LED Street Lights were installed throughout the parking areas which surround the HSE Science and Research Centre, with a number of our LED Floodlights installed to external walls in order to provide lighting to pathways so that staff can safely move around external areas when natural lighting fades.
