General Carbon Emissions Reporting - Business Update
Date Posted 03 December 2025

We have now updated our Scope 1 & 2 carbon emission figures, covering areas such as neutral gas site use, petrol and diesel from company vehicles, electricity site use and electricity from transport; further to this extensive work, we are proud to announce that we have also completed our Scope 3 calculations for 2024.

This is a significant step for any business, and it puts us closer to our goal of reaching Net Zero status in the near future. Measuring Scope 3 carbon emissions is a commitment which is reserved for businesses that are serious about taking the right steps towards sustainability without taking any shortcuts.

By calculating our Scope 3 figures we have interrogated every aspect of the product lifecycle, whilst also collaborating closely with third party partners to assess areas such as the delivery and dispatch of goods, waste disposal, business travel, staff commuting and the collection of goods. To give an idea of the extent of information required to determine Scope 3 figures, our Scope 3 calculations make up 87.5% of our overall carbon emission figures:
Our Carbon Emissions Report has since informed our Carbon Emissions Reduction Plan, a plan which is designed to help us to meet our Net Zero targets. Our aim is to reduce our tCO2e by 25% by the year 2030.

We have undertaken selected Carbon Reduction Projects in order to achieve our 5-year target (a minimum of 66.658 tCO2e, equating to a 5% reduction against our 2024 baseline). The schemes which we are working on will be declared in 2026 as part of our 2025 emissions report.

To support our ambitious Net Zero plans, we have installed solar panels at BELL House, with 90% of our company fleet also set to be solely electric by January 2026.

We will continue to work with effective environmental management systems and ISO 14001 certification bodies in the future; we also hope to implement measures to achieve ISO 50001 certification through a full energy management system.

Our Carbon Reduction Plan was completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 standards, with our emissions reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard, using the appropriate government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.

Our Scope 1 and 2 emissions were reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) standard.
