The Lighting industry is moving towards a reduction on impact on the environment. With the introduction of RoHS directives pushing the industry away from fluorescent products and towards more efficient LED alternatives, we are in an environment which dictates reflection when it comes to the efficiency of lamps and light fittings.

We have a range of energy efficient products, from LED lamps to innovative light fittings like the Firestay Geo LED Sustainable Modular Downlight, a product which was designed with sustainability and circular economy in mind.

Our Class A Filament LED Lamps are our most energy efficient lamps to date, with energy saving lighting technology, providing up to a 94% saving, which reduces carbon emissions and ensures low energy usage. The product group is covered by a 5 year warranty, and the items involved boast a 50,000 hour lifetime, with outstanding dimming performance on trailing edge dimmers.

With high temperature capping cement used across the product group and a retro feel with all of the benefits of LED technology, this efficient new Lamp offering represents a significant step for BELL Lighting, pushing us further towards our goal of becoming more sustainable and more environmentally friendly in our practices.
 

As of October 2023, Energy Labelling Regulations dictated that light sources would be required to show a new energy efficiency label.

The new labels now show a scale from A to G, making it easier to choose an efficient light source. This change in regulation was a much needed one, as the previous system was due an overhaul. In the previous system, light sources were rated from A to F when the criteria was first announced, however, due to the rapid improvement in efficiency where LED products are concerned, products have more recently been rated as A+ or A++ making it difficult to determine which products are truly more efficient than others. The bar for higher rated products has now been increased within the new labelling system, making it easier to identify which products are more efficient than others.

Our Class A Lamps are rated according to new regulations, making it clear to custoemrs that they are truly the platinum standard where efficiency is concerned.
