We were in attendance at the Electrical Contracting News Awards at the end of November, with our Firestay Geo LED Sustainable Modular Downlight winning the Lighting Product of the Year and Smart Buildings/Sustainability Product of the Year! Our success in both categories was a particularly proud moment for everyone involved, as we are committed to bringing circular economy focussed products into our range, and receiving recognition for all of the hard work which went into the release of the Firestay Geo meant a lot to the team.

The categories were judged on a host of elements, from design, innovation, usage and space in the market, to economic and commercial viability, and we thank the experts involved in the judging process for assessing our application favourably.

Alongside our Electrical Contracting News victories, we also realised our goal of receiving a Build Back Better Award in 2023. This was not an easy task, and any product which enters the Build Back Better Awards does so knowing that their entry will be evaluated extremely seriously under the lens of sustainability. Winning a Green Award reaffirmed our belief that circular economy products have a real place in the market, and gave us the confidence to further apply for Electrical Contracting News Awards, along with other competitions where the Firestay Geo was also shortlisted as a finalist, such as the National Recycling Awards.

We hope to win further awards in 2024, and we are excited for the sustainability journey which awaits us in the future.
